It begins with mindful recipes. Curating the perfect ingredients. Precise preparation hours before our first patron walks through the door. So much of the Oldestone Steakhouse experience happens behind the scenes,
with a large team of highly trained artisans who prep and serve the finest quality dishes in the region.
Culinary Director Chef Will cut his teeth in Chesapeake Bay restaurants as a teen, with stops at some of the most prestigious seafood, chophouses, and other fine dining establishments along the way. His southern steakhouse pedigree aligns perfectly with the 150-year-old building that houses Oldestone. Traditionally, the restaurant experience is one of comfort, continuity, nd the simpleness of a well-prepared meal - a constant in this building for the past few decades.
"We never lose sight of the intangibles, whether someone is seeking casual bar fare or carefully prepared entrees. Our team works hard to win you over with just one dish."
Chef de Cuisine
Chef Tyler has been an important component of Chef Will's team going back to 2016. More recently, Chef Tyler worked at the Vanguard and The Barrow House in New Jersey. His precise hands-on preparation and high-set standards elevate the kitchen staff to fulfilling Chef Will's traditional vision, each step of the way.
"Our goal is to build a unique experience of simple foods done right. We don't seek to over-complicate what should be a consistent, quality experience."
